Meet the Director

Michael Klein is a choral director, singer, pianist and performing arts clinician who has led choral ensembles both nationally and abroad. Mr. Klein has also served as a coordinator, adjudicator and host for festivals and competitions throughout Southern California. He was a finalist in the International Voice of Musical Theater competition at the Llangollen International Music Eisteddfod in Llangollen, Wales, and performed internationally as a choral singer and conductor in England, Ireland, Wales, Italy, South Korea and the Vatican. Mr. Klein served as vocal music director at Bonita Vista High School in Chula Vista and most recently worked as a show choir director, vocal coach and piano accompanist at Los Alamitos High School. In addition to his work as a teacher and musician, he has also been an activity coordinator, photographer, videographer and dean of students for youth outreach programs and camps. Mr. Klein holds his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Azusa Pacific University in Music Education and Teaching.
